Civic and professional involvement includes serving as a Caterpillar recruiter and campus coordinator for Missouri S&T, leading recruiting efforts across engineering disciplines. Coordinated technical and financial support for student design teams, including the Solar Car Team and the procurement and installation of a generator set in Bolivia for an Engineers Without Borders water project.
Member, Missouri S&T Industrial Relations Board. Helped provide hydraulic test benches and establish the Caterpillar Mechatronics Lab within the Missouri S&T Mechanical Engineering Department. Worked with the Missouri S&T Advancement Team to secure Caterpillar Foundation grants supporting research and university development initiatives.
Served with Central Illinois Angels on the investment screening committee and as an LLC manager to promote entrepreneurship and startup businesses in Central Illinois and the Midwest.
